Our Dog

Ridgy Didge

Maddie Cameron

Maddie arrived in Western Australia on the 10 September 2021. She travelled from Ridgy Didge Australian Cobberdogs in Queensland by plane to Western Australia when she was 8 weeks old. She had one very long journey hindered by delayed flights then a 1.5 hour car journey to her new home in the wheatbelt of WA. She was one very tired puppy who after a nice dinner settled in for a 3 hour sleep. After being crated for such a long time, we allowed her to rest with us. She is now crate trained and loves her sanctuary.

We are thankful to Greg and Robyn for choosing this breeding girl for us and their advice and assistance helping us set up our breeding journey.

Maddie is a medium, measuring 52 cm and weighing 17 kilos. She is a beautiful blonde with a small amount of white on her chin and chest. Her coat test shows one copy of curly coat & she is IC free. She has above-average hip and elbow scores. Her confirmation is correct and has a beautiful nature.

She is very intelligent and reads our every move! We had no idea that she would be as athletic and agile as she is. She loves doggy obstacle courses, runs like the wind and swims like a fish. Loves traveling in the car and on the quad bike. From 9 weeks of age, she could climb her crate door and climb onto the roof! Robyn did say she was a ‘monkey’ and often would wonder.

Maddies dam is Ridgy Didge Lilac Honey (Lyla)

Maddies sire is
Tegans Aced It All (ASA)

Lyla is a lovely small-medium girl with a blonde-rose wavy fleece coat. She has a beautiful temperament and is a wonderful family dog and lives with her guardian family on the Sunshine Coast.

DNA breed profile is clear of 31 inheritable diseases.

OFA RESULT: Good Hip Joint Conformation as
compared with other individual of same breed and age.
ELBOWS: Negative for elbow dysplasia.

Asais a medium Cobberdog, and has a beautiful wavy red fleece coat. This boy is such a very lovely, calm and confident young man. He is outgoing and all round ‘perfect’
